Hi everyone!
I was in the chat today and it was pretty interesting. I'm understanding about 50% of the French words that I read now, so I understood most of the topics being discussed.
I was able to ask Chimene who her favorite French female singer is. I was very surprised by her answer, Celine Dion, because Celine is one singer who I have never been interested in. Maybe I should find her most popular French language CD on Amazon.com and buy it, and give her a 2nd chance, just because I really care what Chimene thinks. We'll see, I'm still thinking about it.
Anyway, I really had fun in the chat, because I'm having fun learning a foreign language, and because it's not every day you get to chat with a real superstar. I'm trying to tell my friends over here that Chimene is about as popular in France as Mariah Carey is in the USA, but they just don't get it.
I don't send many messages in this forum too often, so I'll just say that I still love Chimene, and since I last posted, Natasha St-Pier has REALLY risen up in my rankings. If you haven't seen her "Un Ange Frappe A Ma Porte" video, you've got to see it. It's really sweet. I also have a super, super, high quality video of Natasha and Alizee singing together on a TV show, and that one is pretty sweet too, because if you've read my previous postings, you already know what I think of Alizee.
Sorry for the long posting, but I don't write too often anymore. I'm too busy working. I wish the best to Chimene, and I thank her for participating in the chat, and I thank Savannah as well.
